Pippins Pre-school has been running for twenty years and currently holds an Outstanding Ofsted report. We are based within the school grounds in a dedicated area including an outside space and children can attend from two and a half up to primary school age. Children between the ages of three and five are currently eligible for up to 15 hours free each week. We don’t have a catchment area and are happy to take children from outside East Markham. Pippins is run by a very experienced, highly qualified team of staff and as a registered charity is supported by a voluntary committee.
We run two sessions each day, the first from 8.30am to 11.30am and the afternoon session runs from 12.00pm to 3.00pm (this session starts with lunch where children may bring their own packed lunch or order a cooked meal).
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum as used by Reception in East Markham Primary School. We encourage free play, with options to take part in crafts, role-play, outdoor play and many other exciting activities to cover all areas of learning. Each week we have a topic of interest where the children can bring in related items to share and discuss a wide range of subjects from dinosaurs to Mr Tumble! Local members of the community are involved to support these topics and visits made in the area enhance the children’s experience.
Throughout the year Pippins enjoys involvement with local community events and independently holds a number of fundraising events. The children enjoy an annual Christmas party, Halloween party and sports day along with other events.
Pippins is extremely proud of its provision for children to come and feel safe and enjoy their pre-school learning experience. If you would like more information about us, please call in, look at our websitewww.pippinsreschool.com
