Hello! Welcome to Otter Class. We are a fantastic bunch of Year 4s, taught by Miss Smith.
Year 4 is an exciting time in school, full of opportunities to grow, discover, and achieve. It is a year where children continue their Key Stage 2 journey, developing greater independence, resilience, and confidence in all that they do. The Year 4 curriculum is bursting with engaging and stimulating topics, providing plenty of chances to explore, question, and learn in fun and meaningful ways.
We are proud to be a ‘Growth Mindset’ class, always ready to tackle challenges with a positive attitude and determination. In Otter Class, we believe that with effort, perseverance, and teamwork, “WE CAN DO IT!”
Key Information:
- Children come to school in their P.E. kits on Mondays and Tuesdays.
- Children need to bring their swimming kits on Tuesdays until February half term.
- Weekly spellings will be checked on Fridays.
Home Learning:
- Reading at least four times a week. Reads should be recorded in children’s Reading Records.
