Reception – Clumber

Hello, welcome to our Clumber Class page!

In Clumber class, we love to take our learning outdoors. Exposure to the natural environment has proven to be beneficial to develop a variety of skills within children and adults! Our hands-on sessions enable children to build enhanced personal, social and communication skills, develop their problem solving abilities and become resilient learners.

Due to being outside rain or shine, we ask that children bring and keep a pair of wellies at school throughout the year. This means we can have lots of fun without getting too wet!

In Reception, we focus on a different topic each half term to make sure we can fit in lots of exciting things throughout the year. Our topics for this year are: ‘Our World’, ‘Can I Go and Play Now?’, ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder What You Are’, ‘Once Upon a Time’, ‘Are all Minibeasts Scary?’ and ‘Have You Ever Seen a Mermaid?’
